Gerardina "Gerrie" Reyes [Garcia] Berlanga
1961 - 2007

Tehachapi resident Geradina Berlanga, 46, passed away quietly at her home June 28 following a lengthy illness.

Gerrie was born in Brawley on Sept. 30, 1961, to Alfredo and Rosa Garcia.

She married John Renteria Berlanga on Oct. 5, 2001.

She is survived by her husband, John; son Rickey Teniente, of Ashland, Ore.; daughter Eileen Teniente, of Bakersfield; mother Rosa Reyes, of Brawley; sisters Terri, Rosemary, Maggie and Sarah; brothers Ferman, Wolford and William. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo and brother, Marcos.

Services were held Thursday, July 5, at Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel. Deacon Richard Lambert officiated at the service. On Monday, July 9, services were held at Frye Mortuary Chapel in Brawley, with interment following at Riverview District Cemetery.
