Antonio "Papa Tony" Hernandez
1926 - 2004

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2004, from 5:00 p.m., at Delano Mortuary Chapel with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 30, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Chruch, in Delano.

Antonio was born January 12, 1926 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

He worked as a Farm Laborer for over 40 years. He was last employed with Vignolo Farms.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara in 2000.

Antonio is survived by his sons, Antonio Jr., Salvador and Freddie Hernandez, and daughters, Maria Elena Rivas, Ruby Ramirez, Isabel Hernandez, and Delia Leal, all of Delano; numerous brothers and sisters, twenty-four grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
