1941 - 2007

Gloria Jex, 66, of Delano, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2007, in Bakersfield.

She was born on November 5, 1941 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was a homemaker for 26 years and lived in the area for 66 years.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Francis Jex of Delano; children, Tony Coronado Jr. of Bakersfield, Sammy Chacon Jr. of Bakersfield, Debbie Munchalfen of Bakersfield, Tom Chacon of Bakersfield, Joe Chacon of Delano, Melinda Perez of Bakersfield, Ricky Chacon of Delano, Rudy Jex of Guatemala, Francisco Jex Jr. of Guatemala, Eddie Jex of Washington, Edgar Arnold Jex of Sonora, Mexico, Miguel Angel Jex of Long Beach, Norma Jex of Inglewood; brothers and sisters, Ernesto Carbajal of Bakersfield, William Carbajal of McFarland, Helen Bernal of Bakersfield, Mary Gonzalez of Delano, Renia Gonzalez of Bakersfield and Alex Carbajal of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rosary will be held Thursday, December 13th, at 6:00 p.m., at Delano Funeral Home and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 14th, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, at 9:00 a.m., with Father Ervan Beers officiating. Interment will be held at North Kern District Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Tony Coronado, Sammy Chacon Jr., Tommy Chacon, Joseph Chacon, Ricky Chacon and Ernie Quevedo Jr.
