Joe L. Camarillo
1963 - 2007

Joe passed away quietly, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, September 14, 2007 after a long illness.

He held on with strength and courage until his family was ready to release him to go on alone on his journey home.

Joe is survived by his wife, Socorra; two sons, Joe Camarillo Jr. and wife, Ana, and Jesse Camarillo; three daughters, Mary Camarillo and husband, Francisco Campos, Vanessa Camarillo and Savannah Camarillo; three grandsons and three granddaughters; parents, Mary and Juan Marquez; brothers, Daniel Camarillo Jr. and wife, Irma, Steve Camarillo and wife, Lulu, Paul Camarillo and wife, Candy, Johnny Marquez Jr. and wife, Barbara; sisters, Carol Naval and husband, Albert Jr., Lori Peña and husband, Jerry; father, Daniel Camarillo and wife, Henrietta; brother, Bonifacio Camarillo; sisters, Mona Camarillo, Diana Camarillo and Alicia Castillo; and many nieces and nephews who all loved their Tio Jose very much.

Joe loved being with family and friends to barbecue or spend long days fishing at the lake and at the Pismo Beach Pier.

We will continue to gather together often to enjoy each other's company knowing that he will be forever on our minds and in our hearts.

Visitation and memorial service will be held Thursday, September 20th, 6:00 p.m., at Divine Vision Ministries, 308 Yampa Street.

Rosary and funeral service will be held Friday, September 21st, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 900 H Street, officiated by Fr. Craig Harrison.

Graveside services will be immediately following at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery on Panama Lane.

Joe will be lovingly carried to his final rest by only a few of those who were close to his heart.

Pallbearers are Jesse Camarillo, Joe Camarillo Jr., Daniel Camarillo Jr., Steve Camarillo, Paul Camarillo, Johnny Marquez Jr., Bonifacio Camarillo, Jerry Peña, Albert Naval III, Daniel Camarillo III, Paul Camarillo Jr. and Jaime Naval.
