H. B. Menees
1922 - 2008

Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest for H. B. Menees. Pastor Terry Murtagh will officiate.

Born December 2, 1922 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, he married Evelyn Stephens May 2, 1942.

Serving in the Army during WW II, he participated in the Landing at Normandy, and the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded numerous medals. He worked in the dairy industry for over fifty years and retired from Palla~Rosa Farms after thirty years.

He will be remembered for instilling in his children the value of working for a honest living and for his support of his grandchildren in sporting events.

He is survived by his children and spouses; Sharon and Les Calder, Jerry and Jeri Menees, Brenda and Chris Nielsen, Mike and Regina Menees, Chris Menees, Dale and Tammie Menees, Paul and Natalie Menees, his grandchildren, Victor and Laura Hudson, Vincent and Teresa Hudson, Peri Menees, Lindsey and Brian Hays, Lacey Menees, Amy Schaufelberger, Michael Paul, Geoff, Taylor and Trace Menees, Eric and Breanne Menees, great grandchildren, Josh, Cherie, Samuel, and Sarah Hudson, and Aliza Marie Hays and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, 2008, from 3:00 ~ 8:00 p.m.

The family wishes to thank his church, friends, and neighbors for their support and prayers.
