Preceded in death by her husband, Hank Reed; her son, David Reed; and her great great granddaughter, Samaya Aries. Janie is survived by daughter and son~in~law, Henriette and Bruce Garrett; sisters, Gertrude Brown and Edna Points; brothers, Leo Smithson and Gene Smithson; 5 grandchildren, Debra Bravo, Brad Thieman, Billie Thieman, Shawna Bjelke, and Davin Reed; 8 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, November 9th, from 10-11:30 a.m., at Kern River Family Mortuary, 1900 N. Chester Ave. Graveside service family only. A special thank you to Optimal Hospice.
