Lived 85 years For God's Glory NOT ONLY MY DAD, MY FRIEND This was our last Christmas together, Dad and I! Very special time we knew it too! I encourage everyone to cherish every moment you share with your loved ones, as a gift from God.

Daddy has now been united with his beloved wife, my Mom, Pastor Mary, and his son, Raymond.
He leaves behind his daughter, Rebecca S. Bateman, Pastor of HRPBC. Plus many God~given grandchildren, family and friends.
We all know, Dad has heard the Lord say to him, "Well Done Thou Good and Faithful Servant" enter into my joy. My Dad fought the good fight of faith, although challenged, he never gave up. He set this example for all of us to follow.
Dad never meant a stranger, he always was friendly and helped everyone. Creative, talented, he had his own business, for over 45 years, called "Ray Bateman's Top Shop". This man loved the Lord, and it showed. Provided well for his family.
In the military, as he served our country in the United States Marie Corp. World War II, which he loved, and served it well.
We will all miss this remarkable man, my Dad, but carry the confidence "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". So, this is not a goodbye, but rather, Daddy, I'll see You In The Morning! Because you knew, Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
