Radie Alene Manning
1922 - 2007

Visitation will be Monday, November 12th, from 1:00 ~ 9:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 13th, at 10:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd. Interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park.

Radie Alene Manning, 84, of Bakersfield, California, was born in Milano, Texas. Alene passed away November 7, 2007, in Bakersfield.

Alene loved the Lord with all her heart and was an active member of the Riverview Assembly of God Church where she served the Lord for 40 years. She transferred her membership 2 years ago to the Harvest Free Will Baptist Church to worship with her children.

Preceding Alene in death was her husband, Claude Manning and her son, Gary Manning Sr.

Those left to cherish Alene's memories are her children, son and daughter~in~law, Dewayne and Sue Manning; daughters and sons~in~law, Barbara and Tom Elam Sr., Pat and Phil Hollinsworth, Judy and Gary Schengel; daughter~in~law, Karen Manning; and brother, Jess Standard. Alene also leaves 13 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Alene will be greatly missed by all who were blessed enough to have known and been touched by her life.
