Anna Faye [Robird] Burt
1933- 2007

Visitation is scheduled for Anna Faye Burt, 73, of Wasco, who passed away August 10, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m., today at the Peters Funeral Home in Wasco.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said this evening at 7 p.m., and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco.

Interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park and Father John Fluetsch will officiate.

Anna was born December 2, 1933 in Brookstone, Texas to Dewy and Nora Robirds. There she was raised until her family moved around for a number of years together and she finally settled in Kern County.

She married her husband, Gaylord in February of 1954 in Aragon, New Mexico and was the Chief Financial Officer of the family business, Burt's Dairy Delivery, for years.

Anna loved QVC and was an avid beanie baby collector, as well as enjoyed sewing and playing bridge in her later years.

A member of both the St. John's Women's Club and the Wasco Women's Club, she had numerous friends.

Anna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her family always came first.

Anna is survived by her husband, Gaylord; two sons, Gaylord III and wife, Connie Burt, and Stephen and wife, Jody Burt; four daughters, Vickie and husband, Charles Smith, Debra and husband, Wayne Williams, Mary and husband, Ray Hamilton, and Monica and husband, Bill Santillan; two sisters, Evalyn and husband, Paul Willis and Norene and husband, Harley Hand; twenty grandchildren; thirty-one great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her first husband, Wayne Vaughn; two grandchildren, Kenny and Sherri; one sister, Irene Miller; and two infant siblings, Gladas and James Robirds.
