© The Bakersfield Californian Tuesday, 11 December 2007 John Henderon Campbell John Campbell was born June 14, 1939 to Tex and Icie Campbell, in Bakersfield. He graduated from McFarland High School. John was employed by Kern County Department of Parks and Recreation. He eventually became an owner/operator of a private security company. John enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He was a generous man and loved children. John was a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years. John was preceded in death by his parents, Tex and Icie; brother, Glenn (Bow) Campbell; sisters, Madaline Tobin and Shirley Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Maria; son, John Campbell, Jr.; brothers, Donnie Campbell and wife, Sharon of McFarland, and Joe Campbell and wife, Carol of Utah; sister, Diana Campbell~Rice and husband, Thad of Bakersfield. A graveside funeral service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home will be held at Wasco Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., for John Henderson Campbell, age 68, of McFarland, who passed away December 7, 2007, in Delano. Gerald Hosman of First Missionary Baptist Church of McFarland will officiate the service. Masonic service rites will be provided at the graveside.
