Louis Penalber, Sr.
1941 - 2008

Louis Penalber was born January 31, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Domingo and Delores [Montoya] Penalber. He was raised in Wasco, California and that is where he met and married Lupe Aguirre Penalber. They moved to Pacoima, California and raised their five beautiful children, Rebecca Penalber, Veronica P. Tait, Louie Penalber, Jr., Barbara Gracia, and Alex J. Penalber. Louis is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Adrian Lindsay Tait, Severo Luna, Mario Gracia; and daughter-in-law, Sara Penalber.

Louis remarried in 1995 to Eliza Penalber and they resided in Wichita Falls.

Louis is also survived by his wife, Eliza and step-daughters, Cynthia and Sandra and 4 step-grandchildren.

Louis was preceded in death by his father, Domingo Penalber; mother, Delores Montoya Penalber; brothers, Domingo Penalber, Robert Penalber, Albert Penalber, Adolfo Penalber; and sisters, Rosie Villanueva, Vera Gomez and Genevieve Munoz.

Services were held in Wichita Falls, Texas on Saturday, June 14, 2008 for Louis Penalber, Sr., age 67, who passed away June 12, 2008. Local services will be held Saturday, June 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Peters Funeral Home followed by interment at Wasco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
