Fred Bell
1942 - 2001

Rosary for Fred Bell, 59 of Atascadero will be held Thursday, May 3, 2001 at 7 p.m. at Chapel of the Roses. Officiant will be Father Joseph R. Hercek. Mass will be held Friday, May 4, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Catholic Church in Atascadero, California.

Mr. Bell died on April 30, 2001 at his home in Atascadero, California.

Final disposition will be at the Atascadero District Cemetery.

Donations may be made in his name to: The American Cancer Society, Mission Oaks Unit, 555 12th Street, Paso Robles, California 93446.

Fred Bell was born on February 21, 1942 in Borger, Texas.

Mr. Bell loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, jogging, building his house, working with computers and chemistry.

Mr. Bell's main residence was in Taft. Atascadero was his vacation home and his future retirement home.

Mr. Bell has lived in Taft and taught at the Taft Community College for the past 20 years.

In June Mr. Bell and his wife would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Bell is survived by: Wife: Dianne Bell of Atascadero. Son: Chad Bell of San Jose, California. Daughter: Deonna Tack of Taft. Grandchildren: Kenny, Christopher, and Sabrina. Mother: Betty Palmer of Yuma, Arizona. Brother: Joe Bell of Yuma, Arizona. Sister: Mary Bell of Yuma, Arizona. Sister: Marilyn Evans of Yuma, Arizona. Brother: John Bell of Lancaster, California. Brother: Billy Bell of Phoenix, Arizona. Brother: Stan Bell of Hanford, California.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Roses, Atascadero, California.
