Elaine Marie Boles
1938 - 2007

Elaine Marie Boles entered into eternal rest on September 3, 2007, surrounded by her family.

She was born August 17, 1938, in Missoula, Montana to Alta and Thomas Helean.

She resided in the Santa Cruz and San Jose area for many years.

Her greatest joy was in being a mother; she was a model of unconditional love.

She will be remembered for spending countless hours on the beach in Capitola with her devoted sister-in-law and friend Nelda, and both sets of children.

Elaine received her high school diploma from Santa Cruz and retired from Safeway Stores in San Jose where she worked as a meat wrapper.

She is survived by her four sons and their spouses, Bob and Chuck, Tom and Patty, Chuck and Trisha, and Pat and Sibel; sister, Jeri and husband, Skip; brother, Tom; sister-in-law, Nelda and husband, Jim; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Extended gratitude to all the devoted neighbors and friends who were there in her darkest hours. Elaine also leaves behind her special and much loved dog Jay Jay and four cats.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.

Elaine will be laid to rest next to her mother at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park in Watsonville, California at noon on Saturday, October 6, 2007.
