Theron Noel Chittenden
1942 - 2009

Theron Noel Chittenden was born December 31, 1942. He was the son of Clarence E.Chittenden and Emma Lavera [Cox] Chittenden.

He lived in Vallejo, California. And he had four brothers, Glen, Gene, Norman and Larry.

Theron served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Vietnam War.

He died March 13, 2009, in Vallejo, Solano Co., California, at the age of sixty-six years.

Survivors included three brothers, Gene Chittenden of Vallejo, California, Glen Chittenden of Penn Valley, California and Norman Chittenden of Citrus Heights, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry, who died in 1969.

At his request there was no service. His ashes were interred in Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, in Dixon, Solano Co., California, in Section 14, Site 738.,p>

Submitters Note: Theron's mother, Emma Lavera [Cox] Chittenden was born in Neosho County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Charles Elmer and Ida Ellen [Poorbaugh] Cox. Theron's mother and father and brother are buried in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery, in Vallejo, California. His paternal grandparents are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City, Ford Co., Kansas. And his paternal great-grandparents, John B. and Eliza Ellen [Ashley] Cox are buried in Elmwood Cemetery, in Chanute, Neosho Co., Kansas.
