© The Bakersfield Californian 22 May 2003 23 May 2003 Rick Eugene Thomas Services: Friday, May 23, 10 a.m. Born in Visalia, California, on July 1, 1951, he passed away in Yuma, Arizona, on May 19, 2003, at the age of 51 years. He was raised in Exeter attending school there and Delano where he completed his education and met his future wife, Teri Campos. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and married Teri Campos in Lake Tahoe on April 6, 1974. They were living in Yuma where Rick was employed by the State of California as an Agricultural inspector. Survivors include his wife, Teri Thomas of Yuma, Arizona; two daughters, Robin Garcia and Candice Thomas both of Tulare; father, Elroy Thomas of Visalia; mother, Sue Kouklis of Visalia; two brothers, Steve Thomas of Visalia an Jeff Thomas of Montana; three grandchildren, Klarissa, Kaila and Sierra. Graveside service will be held Friday, May 23, 2003, at 10 a.m., Exeter Cemetery, with military rites by the Military Honors unit, Fresno.
