This 7 acre cemetery served the city of San Buenaventura from 1869 to 1941.Ventura, CA 93001

The cemetery fell into disrepair more than a half-century ago and the city took
it over, cleared away the gravestones and turned it into a dog park in the early
1960s. Local residents now and then refer to the park as being haunted.
