Virginia Ann "Sparky" Marion, 52, of McAlester, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, in Muskogee.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at North McAlester Cemetery with Pastor John McNeal officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
Born July 31, 1956, in Oklahoma City, she was the daughter of Alan Harris and Edna McDonald Luna. She and her family moved to the McAlester area when she was a child and she had lived here since.
She worked as a cross county truck driver and was also involved in construction work. She enjoyed NASCAR, going to the lake and being around her dog, her friends and her family. She loved to ride motorcycles.
Survivors include her mother, Edna Luna, of McAlester; a daughter, Crystal Marion-Gater and her friend, Christy Halford, of McAlester; a brother, David Nobles, of McAlester; a sister, Sandra Luna, of Quinton; aunts and uncles, Gladys Fleming, of Yanush, Joy Inlge, of McAlester, Lee and Gloria “Shug” James, of McAlester, Leonard Luna, of McAlester, and Don Lovell, of Stilwell; two grandsons, Marvin and Khelan Gater; two granddaughters, Precious and Krystyn Gater; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Kenneth Tadlock and Jeff McCloud, and mailman and friend, Otis Burks.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alan Harris; maternal grandparents, L.C. and Unia McDonald, and stepfather, Glendal “Ray” Luna.
